We live in a forest.
Every day we awake to the experience of being on retreat. The forest has a life and we are influenced by how the forest is feeling. It can be devoid of noise, or flooded with birdsong; it can be full of movement from the wind, or completely still.
It is exceptional to find a location like this. The majority of rural properties in France are in hamlets. Our house and chalet are 200m from the hamlet so we are free from the noises of lawnmowers, barbecues, dogs, and anything else associated with living in a city, town, village, or hamlet.
We want to share the experience that we have on a daily basis.
You can come on your own or take a companion as we have a double room and a twin-bed room, and for a larger group we have access to a gite just 240m from the chalet.
